A website for the new Twindo

Alongside the Twindo rebrand, the website needed a refresh of its own. We deliberately tackled it later in the broader rebrand window so it could become a full redesign—not simply the old site wearing a new identity.

The work began with content and positioning. We reconsidered what Twindo should talk about, how to make a technical product immediately useful to buyers, and how the story should unfold before moving into visual design. Pairing sharper content with more deliberate positioning gave the new brand a much stronger foundation online.

Designing through prototypes

I used Claude as a design and prototyping partner for the first time on this project. It changed the pace and fidelity of the workflow: I could explore several visual directions quickly, prototype interactions that previously would have required close developer coordination, and evaluate ideas in the browser instead of relying only on static compositions.

That approach also made the eventual handoff simpler. Rather than translating every interaction from a flat design, I could give the developer working HTML and CSS that demonstrated the intended layout, motion, and behavior. I then integrated and extended the new Twindo identity across the experience, making strategic choices about where the brand should be expressive and where the product story needed to lead.

Finding the right opening

The hero became the most experimental part of the process. An early prototype turned the Twindo name into a literal window: a photographic room sat over the CAD drawing returned to the customer, and an interaction revealed the structured model underneath. It captured the transformation at the heart of the product and made the new identity feel tangible.

The early hero interaction made the product transformation tangible: move across the scanned space to reveal the finished CAD model beneath it.

The interaction was compelling, but it explained only one moment. We ultimately needed the opening to tell the full story: how a space is captured, what Twindo creates from it, and why that output matters. Video could communicate that sequence more clearly than a single reveal.

Making the product visible

The next stage was developing three distinct films for Twindo’s primary offerings. Scan to CAD, the flagship offer, received the longest and most detailed story. Each film needed to show both the physical capture process and the useful, editable output—not just an abstract technology montage.

Three product stories, built as one focused system. Choose a service to play its film.

The production process mirrored the AI-enabled workflow I developed for Twindo’s advertising. I used real footage of the scanning process as training and reference material, then combined AI-generated footage with product imagery and motion design to depict the experience accurately. The result connects what happens on site to what arrives in the customer’s hands: a complete spatial record and professional-grade, editable CAD.

The more technical Point Cloud to BIM offer used the same visual logic while giving its audience a closer look at the transformation from captured conditions to a structured model. Together, the three films create one consistent system while giving each service the space to explain its distinct value.

A bonus cut

Want a little bonus content? Check out this version with the sound on and a groovy song to accompany the video. Ultimately, we decided not to use the version with lyrics—saving it for a social post or something—but I still love it.

The finished experience

The final site carries the new Twindo identity through a clearer, more confident product narrative. Expressive color and dimensional imagery create energy, while the page structure moves from the core promise into proof, process, offerings, and conversion. The films do the heaviest explanatory work; the surrounding system gives buyers the context and confidence to act.

Results

I directed the Canvas-to-Twindo launch across marketing and product. Following the February launch, web account creation-to-new-buyer conversion rose from 3.88% in January to 9.13% in April.
